We had a wonderful Christmas stay at this charming cottage. we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained the cottage was. It was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. the wood burning stove added a cosy touch to the cottage, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. the location couldn't have been better. We were within walking distance of a lovely village pub where we enjoyed delicious meals and friendly service. We also loved being able to explore the surrounding countryside and quaint villages, which provided a peaceful and relaxing experience. Lastly, the patio garden with a BBQ was a great addition. We can only imagine how lovely it would be during warmer weather.
Although we had a great overall experience, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. the roads and parking around the area were a bit tricky to navigate.

Plus, with a golf course and horseback riding options nearby, there was never a dull moment. The outdoor dining area was the perfect spot to enjoy our meals while taking in the stunning views. We were also impressed with the spacious bedroom and the bonus sitting room, which had a jaw-dropping view through the massive window. The cottage was a true hideaway and we can't wait to return!

The wood-burning stove added a cozy touch, and the patio with a BBQ was ideal for enjoying the warm weather. We loved exploring the surrounding area, with its beautiful walks and nearby attractions like Cotswold Water Park. Sarah, the owner, was efficient and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable.
For families with children, my kids wished for a larger second bed.

The location was peaceful and allowed us to connect with nature, with beautiful countryside walks right at our doorstep. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere made our evening at the nearby country pub a truly enjoyable experience.
The breakfast offerings could use some improvement, perhaps by adding a wider variety of options.

The cottage was spotlessly clean, and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The location, nestled in a quiet village, provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Additionally, the proximity to a fantastic country pub made for enjoyable evenings.
The parking space was a bit tight for larger cars, but alternative parking was available at the top of the village. Additionally, there were some cleanliness issues with the cottage, including a dust and mildew smell and woodlice infestation.
